Sikorsky S-92 Auxiliary Fuel Tank Installation
- Increased range for off-shore and SAR operations
- Allows for combined passenger seating & tank installations
- Quick and easy installation and removal
Do your operations require the ability to fly your S-92A over extremely long distances without refueling stops? The Auxiliary Fuel Tank Installation is designed to increase the range and endurance of your S-92A helicopter, and was developed primarily with search and rescue (SAR) operators and the off-shore oil industry in mind.
The installation is extremely flexible, and once the provisions are installed, one or two auxiliary fuel tanks can be carried, depending on mission requirements. Each tank provides an additional 150 U.S. gallons of fuel capacity. The tanks can be installed in combination with passenger seats or as a stand-alone installation, and are quick to install or remove.
The modification consists of an under-floor reinforcement structure for the main cabin, fuel quantity indicating system, airframe fuel manifold, Aux Fuel Transfer and Refuel Management cockpit control panels, wiring harnesses, and one (or two) composite auxiliary fuel tanks. All support documentation is also included.
